In other words, a delay saves a borrower thousands of dollars because they can stay in their home longer instead of having to pay rent to live in another place. Delay will be most likely rent free when you hire me because the borrower will not be making any mortgage payments and the missed payments will become part of the amount owed the bank and rolled into the foreclosure judgment. I will then do everything in my power and experience to ensure that the lender will then bid the entire amount of the foreclosure judgment at the foreclosure sale and then there will be no deficiency owed by the borrower. The delay thus permits the borrower to live in their home rent free.
- The amount of time I can delay the process depends upon the circumstances but I can virtually guarantee that I can delay the whole process at least 6 months. Depending upon the problems that I can create for the lenders regarding their documentation, I may be able to delay the process for up to an additional 2 years.
